Chasing the sun around has been the challenge for 2015. I've already whinged enough about the poor weather this year, but I reserve that right when it's my job. I won't be beaten though, it's all about determination if you've got the time and the deadlines aren't too tight. We spent two and half days with talented private Chef John Ramsay in the amazing surroundings of Loch Tummel, shooting him at work and at home in his amazing cottage overlooking the loch. Such was the weather on the first two days, I had to drop by his cottage on the way home from working up in Aberdeen for JAM Studio Architects, I was staying in Kemnay, so I drove via Braemar, a road I will without doubt be visiting again, it was stunning. Glad I made the effort on that Saturday morning, as the weather finally played and I got the external shots of his cottage to nail the full article.

I'll get the full set of images up on the website very soon, I've got some edits to add out with the choices the magazine made for layout, you can view the full article over at Homes & Interiors Scotland, it's in issue 103, I've got another 4 articles in this issue, it was a bumper month, be sure to check out the cover shoot as well from the talented Keith Hunter, a name synonymous with architectural photography in Scotland, he's taken some knock out images of Richard Murphy's house in Edinburgh, a real gem.
