Caledonian Optical laboratory in Aberdeen, designed by JAM Studio Architects

First time I've shot an optical laboratory, we were supposed to be shooting it on completion, but there were some problems which led to me having to shoot the place whilst it was in production. Quite a challenge, I had to make sure my process was unobtrusive to the production as the lab were under pressure to catch up on their orders. I did still choose to light the shots though, perhaps not as extensively as I usually would due to the Lab being in production. 

Despite that I pretty much almost emptied the van on this one though, we had six studio heads set up for most of the shots. All of the shots were taken to try and match the concept renders as closely as possible.
