JAM Studio Architects always bring me a great variety of commissions, reflecting the diversity of the work they can produce. I spent a fair bit of time lighting these interior photographs of the refurbished Douglas Dickie opticians branch, we had to work through the night for some of the shots whilst the branch was closed, it's good to have shots with some human presence in them as well though as demonstrated here. Part of the brief was to take shots that matched the original renders for visualising the design. I also had to make sure I got the light fittings in each shot as well, this is where shooting exclusively on shift lenses really comes into play, allowing me to widen the angle of view with the shift lens movements.
