Big open commercial interior spaces can be quite the challenge to photograph with my preferred methods of working, especially the lighting side, which is crucial to delivering the quality of work I strive for. Working with Craig from Bell & Swift on the day really helped expedite the process, I'm always happy collaborating with clients in this way on the day. The transformation from the old space to this is quite something.
From the Bell & Swift website:
"A landmark hotel and a familiar feature of the city’s skyline - The Hilton Glasgow.
Our Design Team were asked to create an interior design concept and experience unique to the city of Glasgow, which would help re-establish the hotel as Scotland’s premier function destination and to apply the design to the public areas and guestrooms in line with the overall vision. The scope of the project was vast, with all 319 existing guestrooms, including junior suites and suites required to be completely redesigned, plus an additional three new guestrooms, formed from a meeting space area on the 19th floor."
