2015 got off to a great start when the January copy of Beautiful Kitchens landed. I had no idea the Tom Kitchin article I shot would end up on the cover. Very pleased to say the least, hopefully I'll get more of that action throughout 2015. This was a really tough shoot due to the lack of time Michaela and Tom had. No mean feat bringing up a young family and running a Michelin Star restaurant. I had about twenty minutes to nail the family shot, and less than half a day to take the rest of the interior shots. I never shoot interior photography without some supplemental lighting, I have a small van full of lights to make my job easier when it comes to producing quality images, the hard work on location saves time in post and just produces much better looking images, sharper, colour correct, bright but maintaining a natural feel. One hell of a balancing act, always worth it.
