I think it's fair to say summer 2015 was rotten. It wasn't all bad though, and thankfully after a four hour trek from Glasgow to Insch, the weather came good to photograph interior designer Emma Clanfield's house, which meant we could move some of the focus of the article to Emma's amazing garden, as well as taking interior photographs. We photographed the garden using the same discipline as we would interiors, no lights required though, as the sun was on tap for most of the day.
Styled by Emma herself, with Gillian Welsh on art direction, we spent a full day working our way round Emma's house and garden. I've been wanting to get this set of photographs onto the website for some time now, hopefully we'll be collaborating again some time soon.
