Spent a couple days with Jess and her team making this set of lifestyle photographs of Elliott's for a Homes & Interiors Scotland magazine article. The first day we covered the cafe in Edinburgh, and the second leg was down in the borders at Jess' cottage in the beautiful village of Newstead. Gill Welsh was on art direction duties for the first part of the shoot. We were spoiled with remarkably fine food and hospitality, great people to work with.

Our cafe and shop is the place for breakfast, good coffee, lunch and home baking. You will also find a selection of our favourite store cupboard ingredients as well as our jams and pickles, all made in house. We open the green doors each week from Wednesday to Saturday, when you can stop by and grab something delicious to takeaway or to enjoy on the benches out front.
